In the initial segment of his post, Trump warned of an electoral injustice, contending that without intervention from the Republican Senate, a similar scenario could repeat itself, posing a formidable challenge for Republicans in future elections. In the subsequent part, Trump clarified that he wasn’t actively campaigning during the period when he continued to dispute the 2020 election results. He justified his actions by asserting his duty as President and Commander-in-Chief to address what he believed was a rigged and stolen election. Trump claimed compliance with the Take Care Clause, arguing that he was fulfilling his obligation to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed” and declared immunity for his actions, framing them as necessary measures to protect the nation from perceived election malfeasance.
